Poop bag packaging

Private label dog poop bag packaging: rolls, packs, and cartons

Choose the bag specification before the retail pack. Roll count, thickness, dispenser fit, and certificate scope determine what the packaging can promise.

Common options include 15 bags per roll, refill packs, dispenser packs, retail boxes, belly bands, and custom cartons.

Lock the bag and roll before artwork

Confirm bag style, dimensions, film thickness, color, print, roll count, and core or coreless format before a designer sets the pack dimensions. BioPawPet flat bags are available at 23x33cm and T-shirt bags at 24x36cm, with 15, 18, and 20 micron options.

Order samples in the thickness you plan to sell. A 20 micron bag needs more film than an 18 micron bag and can change roll diameter, carton weight, and the amount of space available inside a dispenser.

Match the pack format to the channel

  • Refill packs: useful for repeat purchases and multi-roll ecommerce bundles.
  • Dispenser packs: combine the bag roll with a portable case and suit pet specialty shelves.
  • Retail boxes: give more space for claims, instructions, barcodes, and product comparison.
  • Belly bands or sleeves: reduce pack material but leave less room for multilingual copy.

Test the finished pack on the intended shelf, peg, shipping carton, or marketplace image layout before production.

Keep artwork tied to the approved product

Prepare front, back, side, and seal areas at full size. Include bag count, roll count, dimensions, material wording, disposal guidance, barcode, country-of-origin wording, and importer details where required.

BioPawPet can coordinate bag color, one-color bag printing, custom boxes, dispensers, and belly bands. Final cost and minimum quantity depend on the approved structure and artwork.

Review compostability claims before printing

A certificate file does not automatically cover every bag, thickness, or private-label package. Match the SKU to the named certificate holder, scope, validity period, and permitted mark use.

Do not place a BPI, DIN CERTCO, or OK Compost mark on artwork until the supplier confirms the exact product match and any authorization or sublicensing requirement.

Confirm the export carton after the retail pack

Ask for units per carton, carton dimensions, gross and net weight, packing direction, carton marks, and pallet assumptions. Ecommerce sellers should also check whether the carton size and weight fit their fulfillment rules.

Approve one packed carton or a packing photo before production. The carton plan affects freight estimates, warehouse handling, and landed cost.

Use one packaging approval sheet

  • Approved bag and roll specification
  • Final dieline and print colors
  • Barcode and market copy
  • Certificate and claim review
  • Retail pack and carton quantities

Approve the physical pack with the same roll that will enter production.

Planning a private-label bag pack

Send the bag size, thickness, rolls per pack, target market, and preferred packaging style. BioPawPet can recommend a sample and artwork path.
